A job is an offer to serve or work for a person or company with an agreement to receive a settlement or payment after completion of service. While a job application is a formal document created by employers for the job candidate to fill in response to an open position. It can appear in form of a hard copy or an online format and requires you to answer questions about your credentials, citizen status, and other information included in your resume and cover letter documents.

Job applications are in two categories;

Skilled worker “These are professionals who have been educated and groomed to become specialists in a particular skill while solving problems required by the skill.” Examples are; Psychologists, Engineers, Scientists, Veterinarians, Nurses, Artists, Chefs, etc.

Unskilled worker “These are non-professionals who may have a level of education, but not groomed to master or specialize in a particular skill and barely know how to solve problems of intellectual standards. They are mostly used for labor or factory jobs following certain rules to carry out the task they’ve be assigned to do.” Examples are; Bar tenders, farm laborers, cleaners, etc.
