Undergraduate Programs
“The Option in Aging was launched in 1992 in response to the growing demand for qualified individuals in the field of aging. Aging is similar to a minor and helps students in multiple faculties graduate with skills that will enable them to serve Canada’s aging population.”
“The Agribusiness program gives students a strong understanding of the economics of agriculture, from finance to trade and human resources. Students will learn about the marketing and distribution of food and agri-products. Explore a sector of the agri-food industry through a paid work placement that earns you academic credit toward your degree.”
“The Animal Systems program gives students a strong understanding of small and large animal health, including genetics, anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and reproduction. The program covers both domestic species as well as non-traditional species.”
“Biochemistry is the discipline that attempts to understand ourselves and our interactions with nature from the perspective of the physical sciences. It is the study of the chemistry of life. Both Microbiology and Chemistry share in the teaching and administration of the Biochemistry (BSc) program. This course combines fascinating areas of life science, chemistry, and microbiology. Students are taught by excellent faculty in both departments who have externally funded research programs, including two Canada Research Chairs.”

“Criminology is concerned with the complex social phenomena of crime and criminalization.
